The duo of BetMGM Poker PA and Borgata Poker PA continue to close in on rival WSOP for second place in terms of revenue. They could be ahead of WSOP this month if trends continue.
BetMGM Poker Pennsylvania taps into the Halloween season with its player-favorite promo.
BetMGM Poker PA also had a good month in Sept, but WSOP PA continued to slide. The market remained under the $3 million mark for a sixth month in a row.
With major tournament series on BetMGM Poker PA, PokerStars PA, & WSOP PA, there is plenty of hot action for PA online poker players this September.
But for Pennsylvania’s online casinos, July was their worst month so far for revenue in 2022.
PokerStars PA, BetMGM Poker PA, & Borgata Poker PA hit record lows for revenue in June. All three PA online poker rooms were also down double-digits year-over-year, due to launch of WSOP PA.
Pennsylvania online poker revenue hit $3.4 million in January, up 10.7% from December and PA’s online sportsbooks generated a record handle of $793.7 million.
Sports betting handle grew 83% to nearly $6.6 billion in 2021, but PA sportsbook revenue fell 53.9% from November to December.
