BetRivers Poker will introduce Mystery Bounty tournaments across Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware and West Virginia on Tuesday, adding a second knockout-based tournament format to its schedule.
The format holds back the bounty phase until a tournament reaches the money. Once it begins, a player who eliminates an opponent receives a randomly selected prize from the remaining bounty pool, with the amount revealed immediately at the table. About half of each entry fee goes to the regular prize pool and half to bounties.
According to Pokerfuse, the games will be offered at every buy-in level alongside the platform’s existing Progressive Knockout tournaments. The presentation includes animations, sound effects and visual cues, including a target marker for an all-in opponent covered by the player and a live table showing bounty prizes still available.
The structure means a player can land a major payout through a knockout without making a particularly deep tournament run. BetRivers will be the third regulated US online-poker operator to offer Mystery Bounties, after WSOP Online and PokerStars on FanDuel.
The rollout also brings the format to Delaware and West Virginia’s regulated online-poker markets for the first time. BetRivers is the only poker operator serving players in both states.
Pennsylvania players have been eligible for multi-state poker games since April 28, 2025, under the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. The agreement includes Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware and West Virginia, as well as New Jersey and Nevada, and covers a shared market of more than 38 million Americans.
The Mystery Bounty debut coincides with BetRivers Poker’s second-anniversary campaign, Anniversary Week, which runs from Tuesday through Nov. 1. The promotion includes Global Ticket Drop, Super Splash, Run It Back and added prizes for the Mini Main and Main Event.
Players who logged at least one real-money hand by Oct. 25 qualify for an SNG ticket drop on Tuesday and an MTT ticket drop on Oct. 30. Super Splash runs daily from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Eastern at two stakes, raising the expected return rate of the existing Splash the Pot promotion to 50%.
Runners-up in Classic and Cub3d Sit & Go events can enter daily Run It Back draws for more than $900 in tickets. Satellites for the Mini Main and Main Event receive two extra seats through Oct. 31, before BetRivers adds $222 to the Mini Main pool and $2,222 to the Main Event pool on Nov. 1.
