BetMGM has opened a WNBA Finals sweepstakes in Pennsylvania that lets online-casino customers qualify through casino play for two tickets to Game 2 of the finals and $2,000 in travel and lodging money. The offer, called WNBA Swish-Stakes, is also available to BetMGM customers in Michigan and New Jersey.
According to BetMGM’s blog, the sweepstakes opened on Aug. 24 and runs through Sept. 6 at 11:59 p.m. ET. BetMGM said it will award two grand-prize packages, and that each package has an estimated retail value of $5,000.
In Pennsylvania, players must be at least 21, have an active verified BetMGM account and opt in through the Promotions section before playing. Casino entries are based on cumulative real-money wagering during the promotional period, so players do not need to hit the threshold in one session.
The casino route is narrow. In Pennsylvania, only wagers on WNBA Gold and NBA Gold qualify for entries, while other slots, table games and live-dealer titles do not. BetMGM also lets Pennsylvania customers enter through its sportsbook, where any available sports market can count, provided the wager is at least $10 in cumulative play, settles at odds of -200 or longer and is not cashed out, edited or canceled.
The promotion has a no-wager alternative as well. Customers can enter by email to [email protected] with the required subject line, full contact details and BetMGM account ID. BetMGM says each valid email earns one entry, the cap is 25 entries across all methods, and the company will select two potential winners in a random drawing at least one day after the sweepstakes closes.
