Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG), a company owned by DraftKings, has announced the launch of Golden Nugget Online Casino in Pennsylvania under gaming licenses acquired from Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) in July this year.

The new PA online casino apps are now available to all Pennsylvania residents, and is fully powered by state-of-the-art DraftKings technology. It offers more than 500 casino games, including some of the best video slots and table game titles available in the industry.

Pennsylvania becomes the fourth state in which the Golden Nugget Online Casino is available, with Michigan, New Jersey, and West Virginia already offering the app to its residents for some time.

Matt Kalish, President of DraftKings North America said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Golden Nugget Online Gaming’s mobile casino is now available to customers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,”

“The app is powered by our leading technology, which dynamically brings hundreds of popular casino games and exclusive content to our customers’ fingertips. Pennsylvanians will be able to enjoy superior customer service, rewarding promotions, and a smooth interface while playing on Golden Nugget Online Gaming.”

Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) Launches as Pennsylvania’s Second Qualified Gaming Entity

The launch of Golden Nugget Online Casino comes as no surprise, as GNOG’s long-standing request for a Pennsylvania gaming license was finally approved by PGCB in July, following a waiting period of nearly five years.

Golden Nugget Online Gaming was approved as a Qualified Gaming Entity (QGE), allowing the company to launch products in the state without being tied to any local land-based properties.

This made GNOG the second holder of a QGE license in PA, with Bally’s being the first, and a number of QGE licenses still available for companies to apply for.

GNOG’s parent company DraftKings, which acquired GNOG after they had already submitted their QGE request, was already present with DraftKings Casino and operating under a license tethered to the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.

GNOG was approved by PGCB for two gaming licenses, one for slots, and another for table games. Both licenses are priced at $4 million, bringing the overall cost of licensing to $8 million.

This, however, is a small price to pay to join the thriving online gaming market that Pennsylvania offers, with casino gaming revenues alone topping $100 million every month and continually showing a growing trend.

What Does Golden Nugget Online Casino PA Offer?

The newly launched casino platform offers more than 500 casino game titles, including several games exclusive to GNOG and DraftKings casinos, such as GN Hyper Strike, Golden Nugget Blackjack, DraftKings Andrew Dice Clay Craps, DraftKings Digits, and more.

On top of these exclusive games, you will find plenty of well-known hit titles like 88 Fortunes, Lobstermania 2, Cleopatra Gold, and hundreds of others, offering a very comprehensive casino experience.

Slots and virtual casino games make up for only a portion of the overall offer, as a fully fledged live casino platform is integrated as well, offering access to live casino tables for five of the most popular casino games.

Golden Nugget Online Casino PA also offers a welcome bonus worth up to $1000 to new players, along with $50 in casino credits to all players who deposit at least $5 into their accounts.

Further promotions and bonuses are available as well, making the new casino platform a very exciting prospect for all players in the state.

It is worth noting that GNOG will not be offering sports betting in PA anytime soon, as QGE licenses do not cover sports betting at all. While six QGE licenses for online poker operators are currently available, GNOG does not offer online poker at this time, and is unlikely to be applying for one of these licenses in the near future, either.
