Evolution Gaming announced that it had launched its Live Craps game at real money online casinos in Pennsylvania and has plans to launch it in Michigan and New Jersey “in the near future.”
In a statement last week, Evolution said Live Craps would be “set in a speakeasy-style studio.” The Stockholm-based company said it chose that design “to make the game easier to understand and to play for both the experienced player and the newcomer.”
“With both an 'Easy Mode’ and a simple online interactive tutorial explaining the game and how best to enjoy playing it, Craps is another step for Evolution in expanding its portfolio in the US and giving players in Pennsylvania a full suite of Live Casino options,” the company said last Thursday.
Evolution said it launched Live Craps in Europe in 2020. It added that it planned “to launch Live Craps across Michigan and New Jersey in the near future,” but did not offer a timeframe. But the company did disclose that expansions in both states were subject to regulatory approval — meaning the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE).

Evolution’s customers in Pennsylvania include BetMGM Casino PA, Betway, Caesars, DraftKings Casino PA, FanDuel Casino PA, Penn Entertainment (formerly Penn National Gaming), Rush Street Interactive (RSI), Stars Casino PA, and Unibet. Evolution operates a live dealer studio in Philadelphia.

Evolution Busy With Live Dealer Expansions in Several States
So far this year, Evolution has been busy offering new live dealer games across several US states.
In January, it helped two of its partners in the Garden State — PointsBet Casino NJ and Unibet Casino NJ — launch live dealer games and offer Eagles Live Dealer Blackjack, respectively. The latter was themed around the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles.
Evolution agreed to provide live dealer games for FanDuel in February. That, in turn, led to FanDuel Casino launching live dealer games through its own branded studios in Michigan and Pennsylvania last month.
June was an especially busy month. In Michigan, it helped launch live dealer games at a tribal casino, the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, and opened a private studio for BetMGM Casino MI in suburban Detroit. Evolution also launched live dealer games for BetMGM, BetRivers, and DraftKings in neighboring West Virginia.
Last month, Evolution launched live dealer games for DraftKings and FanDuel in Connecticut. It also opened a new live studio in the state, in Fairfield.
Interestingly, craps was only mentioned as a live dealer game that would be made available as part of the agreement with Soaring Eagle. Craps was not mentioned in any of the other aforementioned partnerships.
