As the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle approaches, the Pennsylvania Lottery has started selling tickets, which are also eligible for the eight weekly drawings that will see two players win $50,000 each week.
This will be the 16th year in a row that the Pennsylvania Lottery is throwing the special New Year’s Raffle, making four players into millionaires. Until then, players will have a chance to win $50,000 every week, with the same tickets still eligible for the main raffle as well.
The main raffle itself is scheduled for January 8, with more than $5,000,000 in prizes set to be given away. In total, 125,000 raffle tickets are up for sale, each with a price tag of $20, which could make you a millionaire in January.
In total, the raffle will give away four $1 million prizes, four $100,000 prizes, 100 prizes worth $1,000, and 5,892 prizes worth $100. If all the tickets are sold, each of them will give you a 1-in-83 chance to win a prize and a 1-in-125,000 chance to become a millionaire.
The winning tickets will be selected by the computer at random during the Millionaire Raffle and players will have a chance to scan their tickets and check if they won one of the prizes following the drawing, which will take place at 10 pm.

In order to participate in these weekly drawings, you will only need to purchase a ticket for the Millionaire Raffle, with no extra steps necessary. The drawings will take into account all tickets purchased that week, as follows:
