The Casino Race Leaderboards, a popular slot promotion launched by PokerStars USA , will come to Pennsylvania in August courtesy of Stars Casino PA.
The leaderboards initially launched in New Jersey, but now shifts to the Keystone State and Michigan, with up to $50,000 in prizes across both states.
The Main Event leaderboard race, a week-long event, began on August 23 and continues through August 30. The top 10 finishers of a race will receive $1,000 or more, with first place winners receiving $10,000 in cash.
The leaderboard races are free to join. Any spin could land a player at the top of the leaderboard. Leaderboard placement is based on a player’s win-to-wager ratio, which means that the more a player wins, the higher they advance up the leaderboard. To join races, players can click the “Races” tab in the Stars Casino app.
A similar promotion is being held on the same dates in New Jersey for Stars Casino NJ players, but prizes total $20,000 in the Garden State version of the promotion, with $4,000 in cash being the top prize in the state.

Summer Promos Galore from PokerStars USA
The leaderboard race is just one of many promotions this summer across the PokerStars USA network.
Last June, Stars Casino PA held a seven-day Slot of the Day promotion, where players would play a new slot game every day. To receive $5 worth of free play for use on the same game, players were required to wager at least $10 on each slot in order.
New players for Stars Casino PA were offered $50 in free play funds after wagering just $1 of their own money on any slot spin or casino game. They were also eligible for a welcome package of up to $2,500 in bonus funds. That welcome package took the form of three deposit bonuses worth up to $500 each and two slots-only bonuses worth up to $1,000 in total.
PokerStars USA launched a Daily Blackjack Insurance promotion for Stars Casino PA players in June. A key part of the blackjack promotion involved offering 50% of losses back on the first five blackjack hands played in a day, up to a maximum of $25.
Funds from the blackjack promotion were issued as Casino Credits, which could be used on all games available on Stars Casino—with the exception of live dealer games.
In July, as part of the celebration following Michigan regulators decision to let Evolution provide live dealer games in the state, Stars Casino MI launched a live blackjack promotion in early August that allowed players to get up to $50 of their net losses back. The promotion was launched simultaneously in Pennsylvania by Stars Casino PA.
Evolution provides live dealer games to Stars casinos in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania using studios in all three states.
Stars Casino MI, Stars Casino PA and Stars Casino NJ all decided to renew the Daily Blackjack Insurance promotion in their states in July, extending the promotion through the end of 2021.
