BetMGM has secured exclusive online-casino rights to The Traitors from All3Media International and has introduced the first branded game, The Traitors Faithful Riches, across four US states. The slot is live at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and at Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The agreement covers online slots, table games and non-traditional casino games using the reality competition series’ intellectual property. BetMGM announced the partnership on Sept. 18 and described Faithful Riches as the first of several planned titles across multiple casino categories.
The company’s official announcement also placed the initial game at BetMGM Casino in Alberta and Ontario. Its US rollout coincided with the debut of The Traitors: New Blood, whose season premiere aired Sept. 17.
Faithful Riches uses a 5-by-4 reel layout with 1,024 ways to win. Reported stakes range from 20 cents to $450 per spin, while the game includes collect-win, free-spin and bonus-round features. Its return-to-player rate varies by jurisdiction and its volatility is listed as medium-high.
BetMGM said the franchise forms part of a content strategy built around recognisable television and film brands. Oliver Bartlett, the operator’s senior vice-president of gaming, said the programme’s suspense and strategy provided “a compelling foundation for an online slot” and that the deal offered an opportunity to build a lasting iGaming franchise.
The official announcement identifies Games Global as the developer of Faithful Riches. InterGame Online separately reported that Aurum Signature Studios developed the release, an attribution that differs from BetMGM’s announcement.
Financial terms were not disclosed. While BetMGM has confirmed that more Traitors-themed games are planned, it has not given release dates or identified additional regulated markets for the franchise.
