bet365 launched its sportsbook and online casino in West Virginia on Aug. 27, bringing its real-money online casino operation to a fourth state. The expansion adds West Virginia to New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan in the operator’s U.S. casino footprint. bet365 said it is now live in 18 states across the U.S.
The company presented the launch as part of a strategy to expand across North America. Trip Stoddard, bet365’s head of development, called West Virginia “another important step” and said the operator aimed to offer the quality, depth and functionality of its wider platform. The sportsbook arrived ahead of the college football and NFL seasons.
New customers were offered “Bet $10, Get $150 + 50 Spins” or a deposit-match offer with free spins. West Virginia customers also gained access to the Early Payout Offer, Daily Prize Matcher and Jackpot365. Under Early Payout, qualifying bets are settled as winners once a team opens a 17-point lead, regardless of the final result.
The operator’s first monthly Gaming Insights and Performance report also put a spotlight on rapid shifts in online-slot rankings, particularly in Pennsylvania. The report tracks more than 7,500 casino titles in 22 regulated markets, using revenue, stakes, sessions and customer-engagement data, while excluding table games and live-dealer products.
Among bet365’s four U.S. real-money casino markets, Pennsylvania recorded the largest movement in August. Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania Slingo rose 10 places from No. 11 to the top spot. 10,000 Wonders 10K Ways made the biggest jump in the report, climbing 46 places from No. 49 to No. 3, while Fortune Coin rose 29 places to No. 5.
Other Pennsylvania changes included Huff N’ Even More Puff, which rose four places to No. 4. Big Money Frenzy and Super Jackpot Wild Gems entered the state’s August leaderboard as new titles, according to Bonus.com’s summary of the report.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said iGaming slots generated $195.2 million in August, up 8.84% from a year earlier. Total gaming revenue, including fantasy contests, was $569.7 million, down 2.16%, while sports-wagering revenue fell 19.92% to $39.4 million.
New Jersey and Michigan also saw changes at the top of bet365’s August casino rankings. Cash Eruption High Stakes climbed 14 positions to become No. 1 in New Jersey, while Pop-A-Shot LuckyTap rose eight places to third. In Michigan, Hypernova Megaways moved one place to take first position, and Extra Chilli was the standout mover, rising 14 positions to No. 8.
Jackpot365, which bet365 describes as an in-house, multi-tier progressive jackpot feature integrated into its betslip or casino games, has paid more than $151.3 million across more than 268,000 wins since its December 2025 launch. August alone produced more than 36,000 jackpot wins worth roughly $18.7 million.
West Virginia generated 22 Jackpot365 wins in the final days of August, paying almost $10,000, after the late-month launch. The feature is available across bet365’s four U.S. online-casino states.
